The Initial Greetings story

In the Spring of 2006, I launched the Initial Greetings card line for both kids and adults. The card line showcases my experience and achievements as an illustrator. My fifteen years in children’s publishing began, at my first job out of college, as a greeting card artist for Hallmark. From there I moved on to character design for a children’s CD-ROM for Wild Brian and spot illustrations for Leap Frog Toys. I have also worked in educational publishing for clients such as Scott Foresman and Harcourt, and in children’s editorial publishing for Crayon Kids Magazine, Carus Publishing and the Kidsnews section of the Chicago Tribune. Through it all, I have continued creating illustrations for card companies including Hallmark Cards, Gibson Greetings, Portal Cards, and Sunrise Greetings.

Each Initial Greetings card features a single letter or number drawn in its own little world. The blank inside leaves plenty of room for whatever you have to say. The line includes the entire alphabet and the numbers 1 thru 6. Use them for shower gifts, birthdays, invitations, thank-yous or as a whimsical alternative in personal stationary.

A to Z includes every kid so send a card today!

Enjoy,
